02/24/2012 2:51 AM - Legends are born and some are made but one fact remains, they show us what many cannot express- football memories of a lifetime.

One such soul was the legendary Thabang “Chillies” Lebese who played for us. Black Leopards’ family would like to send their sincere condolences to the friends and family of Lebesi for the passing of their son.

Lebese played for Black Leopards after having to be on the spot light at Kaizer Chiefs with 219 appearances, Ria Stars (having appeared 28 times). He then joined Orlando Pirates between the years 2001-2003 appearing 22 times for the Buccaneers.

Lebese continued to change clubs having to play for Platinum stars (known as Silver Stars back then), Moroko Swallows then Black Leopards until he went to wrap up his career at Dynamos in years 2005-2006.

May his sole rest in peace and we will always remember “Chillies” for what he did for the football world.
