Thabo Mongalo is a front line soldier for Black Leopards. The 27-year-old from Limpopo can play as a striker or wide on either flank and re-joins Leopards from SuperSport United. He spent a short while at Matsatsantsa and only played a bit part role hence his return to Lidod Duvha.
The 1, 80 meter striker has 536 minutes under his built on this 2011/2012 season. He has played 11 matches out of the 18 and has 2 goals to his name on the PSL.
With plenty of experience and talent this composed lad has shown indications of a prolific finisher as he netted 2 goals on the past weekend against Motor Action of Zimbabwe.
Leopards play Blackburn Rovers on the
10 March 2012 at Giyani Stadium for the Nedbank Cup challenge.
With their form in Cup competitions, it will prove to be a test for the Limpopo side as they will be expected to win against the under –dogs Blackburn.
Mongalo needs to bring his scoring boots and rise to the occasion as the team will need a morale booster after losing 4-2 to Golden Arrows in their PSL fixture on Wednesday night.
