A team that invests in its young players has a bright future. One can agree that many teams buy or develop youngsters to later gain from their growing skills through silverware or just plain winning.
Today we give you a young promising footballer by the name of Samuel Tiyane Mabunda. He is just 23 years of age and considered to be a player to watch and a talent in the making. The centre midfield player made his Premiership debut against Orlando Pirates in the opening round of matches.
Straight out of development to the elite league is definitely a sign of some magic in this skilful lad. Mabunda was selected for South Africa’s African Nations Championships (CHAN) squad that took part in the event in Sudan in February.

He has played 18 matches for Black Leopards this season which amounts to 1283 minutes on the green. The player has only registered 3 yellow cards as cautions and no red card in sight which is an indicator of good behaviour from the young talent. In the 18 games he has played Samuel has been substituted out 5 times and has been used as a sub a low 3 times.
This is the player to keep your eyes on and put your trust in as he never disappoints. Mabunda and all of the talented stars that wear the Lidoda Duvha jersey with pride will make sure that you keep smiling. Leopards will be taking on Mamelodi Sundowns tonight at Peter Mokaba stadium kick-off at 7:30pm.
