05/07/2012 3:46 AM - Black Leopards have moved their CAF Confederation Cup second round, second leg tie with Nigerian side Warri Wolves from Giyani to Polokwane.
Leopards trail 3-1 from the first leg in Warri this past weekend.

The decision was taken at the request of the players, who prefer the bigger pitch of the Peter Mokaba Stadium, a 2010 FIFA world Cup venue.
"We were approached by our players with a request to move the game from Giyani Stadium to Peter Mokaba. After listening to their argument, we agreed to go to Polokwane,” club boss David Thidiela told The Sowetan.



"The players told us they want to hammer Warri Wolves to qualify for the quarterfinals, arguing that Peter Mokaba Stadium will suit their game plan of playing long balls.

"They want to have more freedom on the pitch, unlike in Warri last Sunday where the local stadium is almost as small as Giyani.

"This is a big game for us, hence we are not taking chances. We are working closely with our sponsors MTN to ensure that the game is properly marketed using various platforms."
