04/20/2012 7:57 AM - Assistant Coach Abel Makhubele will not be on the bench for black leopards effective from the 23rd of April 2012 until the 11th of May 2012. He has been handpicked by SAFA to attend a coaching course in Germany.

This means that leopards will be without their assistant coach for their clashes against Amazulu on the 22nd in Giyani, Warri wolves in Nigeria on the 29th Bidvest wits on the 4th of May and lastly the home leg of the Caf cup on the weekend of the 8th in Giyani.

Due to head coach vladislav Heric due to health reasons, technical director Sunday Chidzambgwa will be back in charge for the away leg of the Caf cup in Nigeria.

‘”We wish Coach Abel all of the best with his coaching course, we look forward to him implementing his new skill set upon his return to the club” clubs PR and communications manager Tendani Thidiela.

When asked about the absence of both coaches in Nigeria, Thidiela said they were blessed to have a man like coach Sunday in their ranks. 

“we’re in a privileged situation to have a man with an extensive coaching cv in Africa, and an added advantage is that coach Sunday has been travelling with the team and is update to date on players form and pattern of play”
