Leopards call on the whole of south Africa to get behind them ahead of their second leg encounter against Warri Wolves taking place on Sunday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium 15h00 kick-off.
Leopards lost the first leg encounter 3-1 a fort night ago in Nigeria, but have a vital away goal. They need a 2-0 victory on Sunday to ensure that they progress to the round of eight. Leopards have done remarkably well in this tournament, although their current league form has taken a dip and only sees them two points above the relegation zone.
Tendani Thidiela Communications manager at leopards credits the African competition for the rise out of the relegation zone:

“Playing in this tournament gave us the chance to stay active and test new combinations in match situations, and we reminded the boys that they are just not representing Limpopo but the whole of the country. They took this responsibility very seriously and it’s evident in the results we’ve achieved.”
Should Leopards win their vital encounter they would have achieved their mandate set out by management.
Thidiela states “Our goals this season were to survive the chop from the PSL and we’re on track to do that and to qualify for the group stages of this tournament keep in mind we’re only two goals away. So we’re urging all the soccer loving public, no matter who you support to get behind Lidoda Duvha this weekend and be our 12th man as we represent the country.”
