Ugandan goalkeeper Posnett Omony says he is glad he completed his move to newly-promoted Black Leopards but says he now has to do what he was signed for.
Omony completed his switch from First Division side Vasco da Gama to Lidoda Duvha a week ago.
"It is always nice to go back to a place that you know, but the main thing is to do the job at hand. And it won't be difficult to settle there as I have friends at Leopards," he tells the Ugandan media.
Omony played against Leopards in the First Division promotion playoffs in a Vasco da Gama jersey, but could not help them maintain their top-flight status.
The former SC Villa custodian, who was last summoned for Cranes' opening Africa Cup of Nations qualifier tie against Angola last year but was ruled out by an injury, has penned a two-year contract. He is to join the Leopards camp for pre-season training on Thursday.
"We are looking for a squad of around 30 players to be able to pick the best options," club boss David Thidiela says.
