Lady luck eluded Black leopards as they went beaten with a 2-1 Premiership scoreline by Bidvest Wits at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors' Sibusiso Vilakazi scored the first of his two goals in the game after receiving a pin-point pass from the industrious Sifiso Myeni.
Thabo Mongalo brought 'Lidoda Duvha' back into the match as he equalised with a headed goal in the 24th minute following a 40-metre free-kick from their own half of the field.
It was the Vilakazi who assured Wits made off with the spoils, when he scored his second goal in the 36th minute, after latching onto a through-pass from Patrick Phungwayo in the penalty area.
The scoreless second half emerged as something of a stalemate as Leopards probed manfully with initiative for an equaliser but Wits tended to hold onto their advantage while employing a defensive approach.
It was a bitter blow for the Limpopo side side in the log who needed points urgently to move out of the bottom half of the table.
