PSL side Black Leopards' coach Augustine Eguavoen has resigned from the Limpopo-based side after the Nigerian submitted a resignation letter on Tuesday, Leopards has announced.

Eguavoen's letter reads as follows:

"After an investigation and a careful, in-depth study of the team and management for the past 14 days, I now see some deficiencies here and there.

1. The team is not professional enough in their approach and attitude.

2. The team is limited in position, with only five natural defenders and four strikers in the entire team.

3. Three, four same type of players in the same position. I lay the blame on whoever was responsible for their recruitment.

The style of play and tactics I want to bring to the team seems difficult for the players to understand in this short period.

In light of all the above, I hereby tender my resignation letter as the Head Coach of Black Leopards FC.

In addition, I sincerely thank the players and the entire of Black Leopards FC for giving me the opportunity to coach the first team. I will be available and ready sometime in June/July 2008 if called up.

Yours Faithfully,
Augustin Owen Eguavoen
