The home side made a positive start to the match and it didn't take long for 'Lidoda Duvha' to have a crack at the Arrows goal. David Makagale had his shot blocked in the second minute and then Eric Ramavhale shot wide of goal from outside the box five minutes later.

Leopards were again denied a goal a minute later when Fischer Kondowe's shot was blocked in front of goal and the follow up by Christopher Netshidzivhe was well off the mark.

Arrows created few chances in the first half and were unable to break down their opponents defence with Leopards 'keeper Efraim Tjihonge only called into action in the 18th minute to deal with a scorching shot from Arrows midfielder Vumani Mvundla. Njabulo Manqanya and Kagiso Dikgacoi also failed to test Thjihonge with their long-range efforts.

The home side dominated play throughout the first half, and should have gone ahead in the 25th minute but a wayward header from Mayasisilua Lubanzadio ensured the two teams went into the break on level-pegging.

Both sides created several decent scoring chances when the second half got underway but could just not put the ball into the back of the net.

For Arrows, Mvundla blasted his shot over the bar five minutes into the second half and Tjihonge did well to hold on to Joseph Musonda's shot from distance in the 53rd minute.

At the other end of the field, Mulondo Sikhwivhilu squandered a sitter from close range a minute later while Robert Ngambi and Jabu Maluleke went wide with shots from the edge of the area shortly before the hour mark.

Both side's continued to create chances for the remainder of the game but neither team could convert their chances.

Leopards are now in 15th place in the Absa Premiership standings, one point above Jomo Cosmos and a point behind Thanda Royal Zulu, who have a game in hand over the Limpopo side.
